This web site was designed to provide information to the families who lost loved ones in the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

On Tuesday, February 19, 2002, the law firm of Mellon, Webster & Shelly, on behalf of seven families of victims of the September 11 attacks, filed a class action lawsuit against the terrorists and organizations believed to be responsible for the attacks. The purpose of the suit is to bankrupt the terrorists. The U.S. government has frozen the assets of at least 140 of the named defendants, but the government can not take title to those assets. The ultimate goal of the class action is to take title to all of the assets and give them to the families of those killed by the terrorists on September 11. The seven named plaintiffs, Fiona Havlish, Russa Steiner, Clara Chirchirillo, Tara Bane, Grace Parkinson-Godshalk, Ellen Saracini and Theresann Lostrangio, will represent the families of all the victims of the attacks and have primary responsibility for guiding the litigation. However, participation by all of the families is welcomed and encouraged. Any spouse or legal representative, e.g., executor or administrator, of any victim of the attacks in New York, Washington, D.C. or Pennsylvania interested in obtaining more information or joining this effort may call or email Mellon, Webster & Shelly at (800) 348-7705
or (215) 348-7700.
